Our journey began over 15 years ago, born from personal heartache and a profound sense of responsibility. Robert and his wife Haley watched as beloved family members and friends endured substandard care in their final chapters or during times of need. The pain of seeing loved ones overlooked, underserved, or left without the dignity and warmth they deserved ignited a fire in us. We knew there had to be a better way—a gentler, more personal approach to caregiving. So, we founded E.M.C Health Services LLC to offer exactly that: another layer of support that prioritizes the human spirit alongside practical help. Our guiding mission is simple yet powerful: “We care about the ones we care for,” and “There is no place like home.” We strive to ensure that home remains a sanctuary of comfort, safety, and love, or that even in a facility, someone is always watching out with genuine concern.
Robert serves as our primary caregiver and certified Death Doula (also known as an End-of-Life Doula), bringing specialized, non-medical companionship to those nearing the end of life and their families. Drawing from training and deep personal experience, he offers emotional, spiritual, and practical guidance—helping individuals reflect on their lives, honor their wishes, ease fears, create meaningful legacies, and navigate the dying process with peace and dignity. This role complements traditional hospice care by providing extra presence, deep listening, and holistic support that honors the whole person.
Haley plays a vital role in running the company, ensuring every aspect operates with the same family-centered heart that defines us. Together, we lead a team committed to treating every client like our own family member.

- End-of-Life Doula Support: Personalized, compassionate companionship for those transitioning through terminal illness or the final stages of life, including legacy work, emotional processing, advance planning, and bedside presence to foster a peaceful, meaningful passing.
- Wellness Checks: Regular, caring visits to private homes or living facilities to monitor well-being, ensure safety and comfort, confirm that proper care is being received, and provide reassurance to families who may be far away or unable to visit daily.
- Daily Quality-of-Life Living Assistance: Non-medical help with everyday tasks that promote independence and dignity, such as companionship, light assistance with activities of daily living, meal preparation support, and more—always tailored to the individual’s needs and preferences.
- Medical Equipment Assistance: Guidance and support in obtaining, setting up, and using necessary home medical equipment to make daily life safer and more comfortable.
